  • Practice Manager (Full-time, Salary, Based in Brookhaven, GA)

    Job Description:

    Seeking a dynamic operations manager, with a proven track-record, for integrative medical practice in Brookhaven, Georgia. Position reports to the Assisting Director of Operations and CEO.

    Qualifications – Required

    • 2-4 years of experience in medical office management
    • 1-2 years of experience working in a family medicine practice
    • Experience in billing and collecting
    • Experience in HR-related tasks including effectively managing a team, hiring and payroll
    • Excellent customer relations skills
    • Warm and kind demeanor—keen to interact with guests and patients
    • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office suite and an EMR system
    • Highly organized, deadline-driven, focused, and punctual
    • Ability to multi-task, juggle deadlines, project-manage, think outside the box and adapt to an ever-evolving environment
    • Willing to go the extra-mile and be a true team-player
    • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study, preferably business management, healthcare management

     

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Work closely with assisting director of operations and CEO to effectively run and manage office of 30+ employees
    • Manage vendor relationships
    • Assist in recruitment of and the hiring and training of new staff members
    • Oversee day-to-day operations including patient in-take, employee supervision and accountability, flow management and financials including running payroll
    • Manage inventory process
    • Run point during a crisis to ensure proper authorities are called, safety plans are carried out and documentation is done
    • Work with assisting director of operations to ensure all VIP client experiences are handled flawlessly
    • Coordinate with employees on schedule requests and daily call-offs, etc.
    • Drive sales by motivating staff and recommending additional training when necessary
    • Work with the rest of management team to track sales, payroll and reports and present during weekly management meeting every Friday
    • Coordinate with HR coordinator to encourage employee engagement and the planning of employee outings and annual summer picnic and Christmas party
    • Work with the communications team to ensure needed marketing materials are created – giving feedback and helping to identify what could be useful

     
    Salary range based upon experience and qualifications $45 – $55k, plus benefits

  • Patient Care Coordinator

    Job Description:

    Patient Care Coordinator makes appointments, manages schedules, directs customers to proper locations and, if necessary, takes and processes payments. The primary goal is to effectively and efficiently manage the lobby or greeting area while maintaining professional standards. Additionally, the front desk coordinator is entrusted with correspondence. You will send and receive both regular mail and e-mail, answer phones, deal with billing, maintenance and security procedures and other tasks as needed. In addition, you will generally perform clerical duties such as data entry, inventory and other paperwork. In all of these capacities, the Patient Care Coordinator is expected to act with a high degree of professionalism, including strict confidentiality.

    Qualifications – Required

    Education – 2-YEAR ASSOCIATE’S DEGREE REQUIRED
    Experience – Two to four years experience in reception or front-office
    Skills – Excellent customer service and communication skills, ability to multitask, organizational detail, ability to meet deadlines, work with little to no supervision as a member of a team, efficient time management skills, computer programs, including Word, Excel, etc.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience – Reception experience in a medical office setting is preferred

    Full-time and part-time (3 – 8 p.m.) positions available.

  • Registered Dietitian

    The Opportunity:

    The Registered Dietitian (RD) is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and evaluating the nutritional component of quality healthcare services to patients of Atlanta Center for Holistic and Integrative Medicine. The RD complies with all standards of practice per licensing for Registered Dietitians. The RD provides Medical Nutrition Therapy per medical provider diagnosis and referral, may teach group classes, and leads clinic quality in terms of clinic wide nutrition handouts/related updates.     Job Description:

    Under general supervision, the Registered Dietitian’s primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Provides individualized Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to patients of Atlanta
    • Center for Holistic and Integrative Medicine. The MNT includes all required components: subjective, objective, assessment plan based on medical provider diagnosis and referral.
    • Confers with medical providers and other therapists on patient care; share critical patient information; participates in the patient care team.
    • Documents MNT patient visits into the electronic medical record in compliance with all standards and rules regarding Medical Nutrition Therapy.
    • Develops, updates and researches nutrition education materials. Presents these materials to the providers and others in clinic as needed to ensure consistent nutrition messages to the patients.
    • Role models and utilizes motivational interviewing and patient centered counseling techniques; ensures the patient is always at the center of nutrition care and intervention.
    • Provides group nutrition and health education for many different groups as needed.
    • Participates in health fair activities in the local community; Provides consultation to and works with community groups.
    • Conducts or participates in in-service education and consultation with professional staff and supporting personnel of Atlanta Center for Holistic and Integrative Medicine.
    • Refers patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components as appropriate.
    • Follows established departmental policies, procedures and objectives.
    • Continuous quality improvement objectives and safety, environmental and/or infection control standards.
    • As appropriate, participates in specific health promotions, education and/or prevention programs.
    • Attends medical staff meetings and general staff meetings
    • Maintains a professional relationship with staff and patients
    • Performs other related and/or necessary tasks to achieve clinic goals and objectives, as directed by Management.

    Qualification – Required:

    • Bachelor’s Degree from an American Dietetic Association (ADA) accredited program;
    • Must have National certification by the Commission on Dietetic Registration as a
    • Registered Dietitian;
    • Must maintain CEUs as required for certification renewals.
    • Ability to learn and utilize effectively the electronic medical records and charting system
    • Intermediate knowledge of computers and Windows environment;
    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products including; Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

    Preferred Qualification:

    Experience – Registered Dietician working in an integrative medical practice with complex nature cases
