Swedish Massage: a classic massage therapy using a blend of five techniques: effleurage (gliding strokes over the skin), petrissage (kneading and squeezing), tapotement (drumming), friction (circular motion to work the muscle fibers), and vibration (rhythmic shaking).
Prenatal Massage*: is a safe and effective way to reduce stress due to pregnancy. Massage helps to alleviate pains women often feel during pregnancy such as backaches, stiffness, headaches, edema (swelling) and leg cramps. To ensure your health and safety, prenatal massage is only available during your second or third trimester. Please ensure you check first with your provider (OB/GYN) to ensure you are a good candidate for a prenatal massage.
Reflexology Massage: is the application of appropriate pressure to specific points and areas on the feet, hands, or ears. Our therapists will work the points corresponding to each major system of the body using essential oils to induce homeostasis.
