At CentreSpringMD + Pediatrics, you get access to our “village” of board-certified, compassionate providers who are all committed to helping you raise a happy, healthy child.
Our pediatrics team is comprised of women who know that nothing is more important to you than your child’s health.
Mary Margaret Burch, our Family Nurse Practitioner, was drawn to integrative medicine years ago as a way to help her own special needs children.
Stephanie Finn, our Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, grew up volunteering at a pediatric hospital unit where she would visit her witty, upbeat cousin who had cystic fibrosis.
Dr. Taz MD is board-certified in pediatrics, integrative medicine, and holistic medicine and started CentreSpring MD because she felt called to pioneer a better way to care for our children. Dr. Taz personally reviews all pediatric patient files and works side-by-side with Mary Margaret and Stephanie to provide your child with the best care possible.
“I think now kids have a tremendous amount of environmental stressors, and I’m committed to finding those stressors, working with each family, and finding solutions to those challenges that are really sustainable and benefit the whole family.”
Stephanie is a pediatric nurse practitioner here at CentreSpring MD, and in her early career began in pediatrics at Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital, working as a staff nurse in the OR.
Stephanie is committed to help parents fully grasp the many aspects of their child’s conditions and treatment options, and works diligently with families to create balanced and health-promoting plans to achieve their goals.
“My goal is to be able to walk alongside parents, because I really want to educate and empower the families, because I know what it’s like to be a mom and to be given a list of things to do and wonder how to implement this at home. So my hope is to be able to parter with you, all as parents, and be able to care for your child.”
Mary Margaret Burch is a certified family nurse practitioner and registered nurse. Her interest in pursuing a career in the medical field was born from having her first child who had varying special needs, both physical and cognitive.
Before joining CentreSpring MD, Mary Margaret spent six years at Northside Hospital as a registered nurse and nurse clinician on medical surgical, pulmonary and geriatric units. While working in the acute care hospital setting, she saw firsthand how a patient’s lifestyle choices affected their long-term health and quality of life.
