Dr. Grossman

Stephanie Grossman, M.D., joined CentreSpring MD (formerly Atlanta Center for Holistic and Integrative Medicine) after 15 years with Emory University.

When developing medical treatments, she considers the mind, body and spirit of each patient. As an internist, Dr. Grossman understands complex medical cases, and works hard to treat each patient as effectively as possible using an integrative approach.

She supports her patients through a number of modalities, including nutrition, supplements, botanical agents, manipulative therapies and energy healing, in addition to her conventional medicine expertise. In her experience, she has learned that the body cannot fully heal by focusing only on the physical nature of illness. She embraces the natural healing of each individual in treating symptoms, identifying root causes and further preventing disease.

After completing an elimination diet that changed her life, she dedicated herself to eating whole foods, a regular exercise program, good sleep hygiene, and stress relieving techniques. These physical and mental changes combined with her commitment to faith and spirituality were essential to her healing. It was through her own personal journey that she felt called to bring this type of healing and holistic wellness to patients who are desperate for their own life transformation.

Dr. Franklin believes that patients should be treated as the unique individuals that they are. She is passionate about developing relationship with her patients, in order to develop tailored and collaborative treatment plans to heal the patient from the inside out. Effective care focuses on physical, emotional and spiritual health, and true healing is not complete until this holistic triad is addressed and brought into balance. She is dedicated to coming alongside her patients in their health journey to guide and assist them in discovering a new life of vitality and wellness. She will encourage them, support them, and strengthen them every step of the way. Dr. Franklin views herself as not solely a medical doctor, but also as a coach, a teammate and a cheerleader in order to help patients achieve their health and wellness goals and triumph over disease which is limiting their quality of life. She thrives on investigating the root cause of symptoms, effectively educating her patients about their condition and empowering them to commit to the treatment plan. Her deepest desire is to meet patients exactly where they are, and help them discover a more abundant, joyful and purposeful life.

Upon joining the practice, she was trained personally by Dr. Taz Bhatia, MD.

As a practitioner, her best asset is her perception. She understands that with a diverse community there comes a need for a patient-focused care plan. Rosi is an Atlanta native and strives to promote community wellness. Her philosophies include food as medicine and mindfulness. “Our planet has the food to fuel us, the medicine to heal us, and the beauty to nourish us. Before joining CentreSpring MD, Mary Margaret spent six years at Northside Hospital as a registered nurse and nurse clinician on medical surgical, pulmonary and geriatric units. While working in the acute care hospital setting, she saw firsthand how a patient’s lifestyle choices affected their long-term health and quality of life. She experienced how there was more to patient care than making a diagnosis and prescribing medicine. This experience led her to pursue her Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Auburn University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.  While completing her MSN, she also completed the Integrative Health and Lifestyle Program at the University of Arizona. This helped her to develop an ability to utilize both conventional and integrative approaches in providing excellent patient care with positive healthcare outcomes

Mary Margaret currently lives in Cumming, GA with her husband and two children. She is an avid runner and enjoys reading, watching sports and church activities.

She is currently accepting new patients and looks forward to helping patients achieve their wellness goals.
