Isabela Castro Sucre is a certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse. She brings great enthusiasm and empathy for the pediatric community. She is excited to provide health promotion and wellness as well as illness prevention through personalized care with a holistic approach. “I find it inspiring to practice in an environment where all practitioners focus on each individual patient, creating a plan of care specific to the patient’s needs. As a provider I want to partner with parents, provide thorough education, and involve each child in their recovery. Empower kids to take ownership of their overall health, and reinforce their body’s innate ability to heal itself”.
She was born and raised in Venezuela, and moved to the USA to pursuit her nursing career. She is fluent in both, English and Spanish. Prior to joining CentreSpringMD Isabela graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Villanova University. Her passion is pediatrics, and since very early-on in her career she has striven at finding as much exposure as possible to different clinical settings specifically in pediatric care. Seven years of experience in NI/ICU, Pediatric CICU, and PICU, aid in developing advance assessment skills and hands on knowledge to care for patients in the pediatric setting. During this time she saw firsthand how preventive care and overall wellness was a definitive factor in the full recovery of patients in the hospital.
Feeling inspired by her experienced, she pursued a Master of Science in Nursing specifying in Pediatric Primary Care, which she also completed at Villanova University. Isabela is PALS qualified and maintains her RN and PNP certifications. She is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Outside of work she enjoys most of all spending time with her family, her husband and two kids. She enjoys nature walks, running, and spinning. She also loves to travel, and visit her first home in Venezuela. She is currently accepting new patients and looks forward to partnering with you and your child to achieve wellness.
