I believe that we are all different and we all have different next steps, my goal is to support you on your own unique path to find optimal wellness.

Amanda McCloskey MS, RD, LD is a Registered Dietitian with a master’s degree in Nutrition Science who joined CentreSpringMD in 2021 to further her passion to serve others by empowering them with the knowledge they need to live their healthiest life with food.

She chose a career as a dietitian after her own journey drove her to reclaim her own health through food. Chronic health problems, disordered eating and constant fatigue led her to begin an evidence-based exploration of the power of food in her own life and education. What emerged from this journey was a food philosophy based in science yet tailored to real people with real health problems.

Amanda earned her Master’s in Nutrition Science at Georgia State University where she completed a Master’s Capstone in pediatric nutrition. She also received the Sarah M. Hunt Clinical Excellence Award for her outstanding work with patients. She spent time working as an outpatient dietitian in the Grady Hospital System and is currently in private practice. Amanda is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine.

Amanda’s goal with every session, and every person she sees is to give them what they need and empower them to take their next right step toward health and freedom. She believes that we are all different and we all have different next steps, her goal is to support you on your own unique path.

Outside of her work you can usually find Amanda hosting friends on her back porch, hidden away with a great book, or creating delicious food in the kitchen with her husband.
